Yes. They do.
I shall pose sexily.
I am crawling in a sexy manner, that many humans would enjoy.
I will post more sexy pictures over time.
I love you, NetherRealm ;___;
Holy fuck
not funny.
especially since umvc3 is like a… $70+ value in a $40 disc. So quit your bitching.
Unless you already bought the clearly unfinished MVC3 for $60. In which case you’ll be spending $100 on what is basically a polished version of the same game.
This is for you.
It only seems like a bad deal because it’s been less than a year before the game was released. But think about it like this; you’re getting 12 extra characters which most definitely would’ve been sold for $5 a pop (resulting in $60 worth of extras) you’re also getting a balance patch, some new moves, new stages, and an online spectator mode. Plus, whatever you spent in terms of DLC for the regular game will be put into ultimate for you.
I imagine if you were to sell vanilla MvC3 back to gamestop you’ll most likely get $10-$20 back for it that can be put toward UMvC3, so really, you’d only need to spend half, maybe less of what the update is worth. I didn’t purchase regular mvc3, I played it with friends, so it’s no skin off my back either way.
What I find funny though is the implication here that Freddy Kruger and more recolored ninjas are considered a better value than the likes of Frank West, Strider, Dr. Srange, and more.
So basically, I should be happy that I’m getting the finished version of an OBVIOUSLY unfinished game?
Uh huh.no, you should do whatever you want; but nobody’s twisting your arm, or holding a gun to your head to buy it. That’s like some Ctrl+Alt+Delete level of man child whining, self entitled bull crap, crying about not getting something you feel entitled to.
I’m sorry, I was just under the impression that Capcom was making the game for people like me. You know, the average CONSUMER? The kind of person who is ideally entitled to a quality product? Who the hell are you to tell consumers that they are whining about a product that in all good chance they have probably already paid for? I find it funny you’re defending Capcom while at the same time you didn’t even fork any cash down for MVC3. That alone is just ridiculous.
Thing is, they kinda ARE holding a gun to every tournament player’s head. The original MVC3 is now obsolete, and there’s no point in even training at it. The serious players are now forced to buy UMVC3 or to give up playing the game completely. This wouldn’t be a problem if UMVC3 was simply a balance patch, characters or not, but the fact of the matter is, Capcom is charging money for, aside from the characters, PLENTY of things that they should be giving you for free. Spectator mode? That should have been free dlc and you KNOW it. Balancing? Should have been free, and if NetherRealm is anyone to learn from, CONSTANT. Compare UMVC3 to Super Street Fighter IV alone. You are getting so much less for the price. As for the 12 characters? Most people barely care about 6 of them! In my case, I only care for 4 characters, and I’m going to end up paying $40 for each of them. You call it whining, I call it a legitimate gripe with a company I have given a great amount of my money to. You’ll have to forgive me if I sound a bit entitled, but you would (and should) if you’ve been giving the company nothing but devotion (and money, so much goddamn money) since childhood only to have them not only outright ignore you, but milk you for all they can as an adult.
I’m not going to repeat what Angry Joe already said in his rant. You want to be played by Capcom? Go ahead. You’re comfortable with a barebones product? Fine. But don’t dismiss the consumers who aren’t on your side as crybabies, especially when you haven’t even spent a dime on the product in question. Not everyone is happy with a clearly incomplete product.I am so caremad about video games. Fuck. Gonna riot.
